Easter Weekend - Cookham

Usually Easter weekend sees all members who would like to participate join a club cruise to Cookham Island.  Maybe a quick stop will be made at Windsor along the way.  Once at Cookham after taking in the breathtaking view on Clivedon Reach, we have been lucky enough to be permitted to light a bonfire.  Lamb has been buried and slow cooked with the whole camp rallying around to cook the accompaniments. Once the fire is lit BBQ's and breakfasts are cooked on it, and much appreciated.  An Easter Egg hunt has been organised with a few pirates making an appearance on one occasion.

There will be plenty of opportunities throughout the year to join a cruise up river.  You don't have to stay in convoy and moor with the club members, dip in and out, enjoy the river and what it has to offer at your own pace.  However company is always welcome.
